The Manx Wildlife Trust has been chosen as this year’s CAMRA Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival good cause. The trust, with over 40 years’ experience, is a major force in protecting and promoting wildlife and wild places in the Isle of Man. Working with Government, landowners and other partners the MWT’s small and expert team of dedicated staff manages 24 local nature reserves, two visitor centres and a shop in Peel. The MWT can rely on a group of passionate volunteers who dedicate over 15,000 hours per year of their time towards the conservation work.
As usual, a special Festival beer will be brewed to support the cause. This year Bushy’s brewery will be doing the honours. A donation from sales of the beer will go to benefit the Trust.
